RECITAL INFORMATION
Welcome to the 2024 Recital Season! Footlights Dance Studio presents: THE LIGHT STILL SHINES!
Recitals will be held at Colleyville Heritage High School Auditorium:
5401 Heritage Ave. Colleyville 76034 – May 17th and 18th, 2024
TICKETS. Each family will receive two tickets to the show their dancer is performing in, and you can pick up your tickets at the front desk. Additional tickets to each show are $10 in advance and $20 at the door. *All seats are general admission and limited for each show
COSTUMES require SPECIAL CARE, a care sheet will be included with your costume, but you can also find a link to the costume care sheet HERE. Costumes will be handed out in April.
REMINDER! Label everything! Including shoes! Some costumes may need minor alterations (straps, waist, etc.) – some can be handled with a safety pin or extra elastic. Others may require additional alterations, and you may use your alteration person/tailor for those adjustments. Your dancers were measured with care, and consideration was taken for growth; however, costumes are made in bulk and occasionally have measurements outside the range provided.
DRESS REHEARSAL! Dress rehearsal will be the week of May 13th during YOUR REGULAR CLASS TIME! *Saturday classes will be on 5/11. Please send your dancer dressed in their costume. If your dancer has more than one class on that day, please send their other costume as well, and there will be plenty of instructors to assist with costume changes. Dancers will meet in their regular studio and then move to one large studio to perform in front of other classes. *Please note your Watch Me Grow account will not be assigned to the rehearsal room and will not be changed for this week. Parents do not watch dress rehearsals but feel free to snap pictures while dancers are dressed in costume.
RECITAL DAY DETAILS! *If you ordered flowers and/or a trophy, they will be available in the lobby at your show for pick-up. RECITAL day instructions for check-in, pick-up, and additional details can be found HERE.
